REF: These are headshots, but they show a 145-150 pound difference. It's almost funny. I am still me, I just feel better.

I can use some plastic surgery, and I visit the plastic surgeon next week....I hate menopause (wouldn't you?) But hell, I am not a diabetic, I am hypoglycemic. I am not in a wheelchair, do not need a knee replacement right away and am NOT dead at 53. OBESITY, MASSIVE OBESITY KILLS.

No, I did not have surgery. I did once, in 1985 and gained all of the weight back when I became pregnant (a license to eat addictively). This time around I (starting Nov. 11, 2005 until May, 2009 and every single day after that ), I treat certain foods like a drug or alcohol I had to put DOWN.

Plus there are books you may read, "Passing for Thin" a bit angry, it is a book by Frances Kuffle, a single, chain smoking New Yorker who has some self-esteem, along with "Quit digging your grave with a knife and fork" (the '12 Stops') by Former Gov. Arkansas Mike Huckabee, who lost 110 and kept it off, too.

UPDATE: Actually, Mike Huckabee has not kept it off. If you watch his television show "Huckabee" , you will see that he has started to EAT addictively and half of his weight is back on. No, he is over 50 and cannot run marathons. Nether can I. But! If you do not put down the food like Huckabee said in his own book that he smartly transcribed from AA's TWELVE STEPS, Damnit, you will go back into the addiction to sugar, flour and massive quantities. You see, this is a lifelong ADDICTION and any of us can fall off the wagon, just like being addicted to drugs and alcohol as it says in the 12 Sttops book or the BIG BOOK, but food is all around us and much, much more insidious!

I have tried through my accounts on @Twitter and Facebook(tm) to reach out to Mr. Huckabee, a busy man, and a hero of mine, to do service and pay him back and say, Mike, Governor, put down the sugar and the floyr and get back on track, pal! PLEASE. NOW. Do not become a diabetic! No! It will KILL YOU. Gov, I owe you. Please get in touch.

Opinion: She will not make this lofty a goal. She, like me is at that certain age. And she does not have to kill herself. But maybe...just maybe...I want 20 lbs off by November, gal.

As for Jenny Craig. It was a great PR move and a damn good try but food addiction is food addiction any way you slice the pie (no pun intended!- or was it?)

Kirstie's Thin Vow

Kirstie Alley and Oprah Winfrey Kirstie Alley has embarked on a pretty hardcore diet incentive.

The actress has made a vow to get ripped by November.

And the brave lady made the ambitious promise on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

So there's no backing out now, Kirstie.

The Cheers actress revealed she has gained 75 pounds, but now plans to lose it to fit in a bikini.

She told Ope: "It's humiliating."

Referring to how she used to be a spokesperson for Jenny Craig, an American weight loss programme, she said: "The most painful thing for me is that I have all these people that I inspired and I let them down."

She added: "When you're a spokesperson for a weight loss company... somebody weighs you every week. It's pressure, but it's good pressure.

"I do better if I have some pressure on me. When I didn't have that anymore... I just said 'I'm going to cut myself some slack.' Big mistake."

The 58-year-old revealed negative feedback she has had from the media: "This (paparazzi) said to me 'Fat ass, turn around so I can shoot you.'"

Nasty.

But on the bright side, Kirstie is planning to get in shape again and is working on her own weight loss line.

She told Oprah: "By November, I have to look ripped."

Great pipes on this big gal, but Christ, I can't go back

This is/was my double. Her name is Carrie. I was this size just three years ago. I cannot sing gut-blues. Never could. It ruined my singing career 20 years ago. I lost 100 lbs then and still would not sing blues well. I am not sophie tucker. I am not michelle wilson. I am not bessie smith. I am abbe bee.

This gal. She is one of the "pin-ups". This weight will kill her, but we will all die someday and then be forgotten. So enjoy her while you can.
